The court session was conducted by ATC Judge Khalid Arshad, who oversaw the proceedings involving PTI leaders including Omar Ayub, Zain Qureshi, Mussarat Jamshed Cheema, Hafiz Farhat Abbas, Azam Khan Swati, and Nadeem Abbas Bara. Uzma Khan and Aleema Khan were notably absent from the court. Their legal representatives had submitted applications requesting a one-day exemption from personal appearance, which the court granted.

Similarly, exemptions from personal appearance were also approved for PTI leaders Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhry. These exemptions were granted in light of the concerns surrounding potential arrests related to the ongoing investigation into the May 9 riots.

The Sarwar Road police have charged PTI leaders and their supporters with involvement in the attack on Jinnah House, which is the residence of the Corps Commander Lahore. The attack, which occurred during the riots, has been a central issue in the case against the accused. The extension of interim bail allows the accused to remain free while the case continues to unfold.
