By Pakistan’s private airline, AirSial, made a significant announcement on a recent Sunday that’s bound to make travelers happy. They’re spreading their wings and expanding their flight services to Saudi Arabia.
According to their CEO, Tariq Ameen, AirSial is all set to offer a convenient travel option with five weekly flights connecting Karachi and Multan to the bustling city of Jeddah. This means more flexibility for those planning trips or reuniting with loved ones in Saudi Arabia.
But the good news doesn’t stop there. AirSial is also extending its services from Sialkot with two weekly flights, making it easier for travelers in that region to embark on their journeys.
This expansion isn’t something new for AirSial. Back in March, they launched their flight operations for Saudi Arabia, aiming to make the journey more comfortable for Umrah pilgrims. The inaugural flight, carrying 160 passengers, took off for Jeddah from Allama Iqbal International Airport, and it was a special occasion. The Chairman of AirSial, along with the Board of Directors and CAA officials, bid farewell to passengers, setting the stage for a promising new chapter in the airline’s journey.
Speaking exclusively to ARY News, Chairman AirSial Fazal Jilani shared that the airline plans to operate eight weekly flights from Lahore and Islamabad to Saudi Arabia, with services available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This development adds to the growing connectivity between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The launch event was marked by a simple yet elegant ceremony, where a symbolic cake-cutting moment added to the joy. Distinguished representatives from Sialkot International Airport and AirSial graced the occasion, underscoring the significance of this milestone.
In recognition of this achievement, Al-Rumaithi, the UAE Consul General, extended his warm congratulations to AirSial’s Chairman and the entire team. He praised this journey of progress and highlighted that this international expansion follows the remarkable achievement of building an international airport by Sialkot’s business community.
Sharing a personal note, the UAE Consul General expressed his satisfaction with AirSial’s services, describing his experience as nothing short of excellent.
