On Wednesday, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) claimed that satellite broadband operator Starlink has neither filed for nor been granted a license to operate and deliver internet services in Pakistan.
The PTA further stated that it had previously spoken with Starlink and requested that the firm cease soliciting pre-order bookings from intending customers with immediate effect since the company has been denied a license to provide internet services in Pakistan.
